Assembly of Delegates

The Assembly of Delegates, which is essentially equivalent to a shareholders‘ meeting, is the most senior executive body of the FMC.

The 2011 Assembly of Delegates

In the year under review, the Assembly of Delegates met twice. In addition to its regular business, it also agreed to a new Migros Culture Percentage project, approved new voting regulations and dealt with various applications. Various specialist talks and discussions were also held.

Members of the Assembly of Delegates

The 100 delegates were elected by the members of the ten regional cooperatives for the 2008 to 2012 term of office. Together with the representatives of the regional boards of directors of the ten cooperatives and the President, they make up the Assembly of Delegates.

Office of the Assembly of Delegates

The Office of the Assembly of Delegates sat six times in 2011. It prepares the agenda for the Assembly of Delegates and acts as a central interface between the Board of Directors and the Assembly of Delegates.

Aid Fund Work Group

The Aid Fund work group held three meetings in the year under review to advise on payments from the targeted Aid Fund to organisations in Switzerland and other countries, and to assess appropriate applications.

Work Group Board of Directors’ Report

During two meetings the Board of Directors’ Annual Report work group prepared the 2011 annual report and annual financial statements for the Assembly of Delegates, formulating its views on them and making suggestions.
