Women in Managerial Posts
Compared to the previous year, the proportion of woman at the directorate level rose by 16.8% to 14.6% in 2011. The proportion of women also increased at executive level to about 26%.
The development of the proportion of women at Migros shows that its long-standing, targeted commitment to promoting women in management positions has paid off. Even if Migros’ position in this area beats the overall Swiss average, it continues to pursue this route consistently in the interest of developing society and the economy.
