Migros Culture Percentage

For the past 55 years, Migros Culture Percentage has dedicated itself to the social cohesion of people in Switzerland within the areas of culture, society, education, leisure and business. This globally unique corporate concept is deeply rooted in the values of Migros and fully reflects the spirit of its founder Gottlieb Duttweiler.

Social Commitment

Social responsibility lies at the heart of Migros' values. The company's biggest social commitment is the Migros Culture Percentage. In the form of «Engagement Migros», a development fund set up by the Migros Group in 2012, Migros is earmarking a further CHF 10 million a year for charitable projects. The Migros Group is thereby expanding its social commitment across the entire group of companies.

Leisure Facilities

In 2012 Migros continued to consolidate its leading position in the Swiss fitness and wellness market. Seven additional fitness and wellness centres and a new medical health centre are now available to promote a better quality of life for customers.

The dialogue with customers is becoming increasingly diverse. Social media is opening up new possibilities and Migros is increasing its online presence. The sustainability campaign «Generation M», which was launched in 2012, has been very well received.
