Subordination to Collective Labour Agreements
The group of employees covered by a collective labour agreement is nearly twice as high at Migros as in the rest of Switzerland.
CLA cover in Migros Group
In 2011 some 70% of all Migros employees in Switzerland were covered either by the Migros national collective labour agreement, the collective labour agreement for Magazine zum Globus AG, Interio and Office World AG, or the collective labour agreement Travel - the latest CLA in the Migros Group, which came into force as of 1 January 2011.

The group of employees covered by a collective labour agreement is significantly higher at Migros than in the rest of Switzerland, i.e. only 40% of the country's total labour force benefits from a CLA. Collective labour agreements or collective labour agreement cover are still by no means the rule in this country.
