Subordination to Collective Labour Agreements

At around 70%, the number of employees covered by a collective labour agreement is almost twice as high in the Migros companies as the average for the Swiss labour market.

In 2013 some 70% of all Migros employees were covered either by the Migros national CLA or the CLA for Magazine zum Globus AG, Interio and Office World AG – or by the CLA Travel, the latest CLA in the Migros Group (valid since 1 January 2011). CLA subordination is therefore almost twice as high as the average for the Swiss labour market, where around 40% of employees benefit from a CLA.
