Governance
The Federation of Migros Cooperatives attaches great importance to purposeful and responsible management. Cooperative governance describes the organisational and contextual management and supervision of a cooperative.
The cooperative principle is an integral part of Migros’ identity. The associated economic, social and environmental responsibility runs through all business areas – and is reflected in the philosophy, actions and management of the Migros Group.
This includes open communication, maximum transparency and compliance with external guidelines. Migros therefore voluntarily adheres to the provisions of the Swiss Code of Best Practice for Corporate Governance and to the Corporate Governance Directive of the SIX Swiss Exchange (DCG). Any deviations from these provisions are referred to in the report.
