Since 2016, all fish and seafood sold by Migros has originated from sustainable sources. Migros also makes a commitment to implementation of Swiss animal welfare standards abroad and to responsible production of soy and palm oil. (More details...)


Migros has changed 210 product recipes in the past three years. The optimised recipes contain less sugar, salt and fat, but more fibre. In 2016, Migros developed social standards along the supply chain and pushed ahead with their implementation. (More details...)


In 2016, Migros again expanded its organic range, particularly products under the Migros Bio label and the Alnatura brand. The range of aha!-certified products for special dietary requirements was also enhanced. Total sales of products that carry a sustainable label rose by 6.6% in comparison with the previous year.
