Migros makes a big commitment to protecting the environment. In 2014 the company again managed to cut its environmental footprint. It stepped up its efforts to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions and made its branches even more environmentally friendly.
The regional Cooperatives made a significant contribution towards recycling and avoiding waste. Various measures were taken to reduce food waste in 2014.
